You Can’t Help Those Who Won’t Help Themselves

Here we go again. Someone showed up on Reddit, demanding, not asking but demanding help for their book. Well, the book they want to write since they haven’t actually put “pen to paper” to be anachronistic. They “want to write” but they haven’t actually done anything, but they sure want everyone else to help them to be successful, in the off-chance that someday, they actually accomplish something.

This is not going to go well.

Can’t Give It Up

Some people just can’t figure out when they’ve lost. In fact, some have lost so badly but are so invested in their failure that they’re blind to everything that they’re doing wrong. They become known for being categorically wrong because their confirmation bias has become so strong that they can’t even see reality from where they are anymore.

One person doing that in the stamp world is The Digital Philatelist. So let’s see where he keeps making such a fool of himself.

What’s the Point Then?

I’m really starting to ask that question a lot lately. This isn’t just a matter of writing forums but a lot of things. We will focus on writing forums this time out and I could venture into other things later though. So what is the point of having any of these forums at all?
