This is another movie that I heard was so bad that it wasn’t watching, and considering the quality of the past couple of Transformers movies, I could believe it. Thus, instead of actually getting the movie and taking a look, it sat on my Amazon list forever.
But hey, why buy a really awful movie when I can just watch it for free on Amazon Prime, right?

Wow, when you get the anti-piracy crazies out in force, you never know what you’re going to get.
Now I’m not going to talk about piracy itself, pro or con, in this article, just the absurd lengths that some people go when arguing against it.

Let’s move from Ant-Man to another insect-based character, Spider-Woman. This one had a little bit of false controversy to it, considering the alternative cover to the left. The crazy regressive SJWs screamed that it was sexist, but it was clearly a reference to old Spider-Man covers, drawn almost exactly the same, like the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #30. I guess people see what they want to see and that reality, to them, is colored by their personal ideologies. But we’re not here to talk about crazy people who don’t even read comics, but about this particular arc. So let’s dive in.

To be honest, while I loved the first season of Orphan Black, the last couple, and particularly the third season, I wasn’t really a fan of. Where it started off being about a small group of clones trying to figure out what had happened to them, it had turned into a giant world-wide conspiracy, complete with a set of male clones, and frankly, I just didn’t care that much anymore.
I guess they got that a lot because from the very first episode of season four, they turned it all around and returned to their roots and that, in and of itself, is a dramatic improvement. Let’s see how far down the rabbit hole this show went this year.

Everyone knows The Asylum, famous for making Sharknado movies, but they make tons of “mockbusters”, low budget movies made to capitalize off of big budget films with similar names. And because the budget of these films is so low, frankly, the quality is all over the place. Some are good, some are not so good.
This movie falls squarely into the latter category.
So let’s take a gander at Atlantic Rim and see how bad it really is.

I had always heard some really bad things about Terminator Genisys, which is why it has languished on my Amazon want list since it came out last year. I was really disappointed by Terminator Salvation and the less said about Terminator 3, the better, so I figured I’d had enough disappointment with this franchise to last me a lifetime.
But I was poking around on Amazon Prime and there it was, so I decide it doesn’t cost me anything but a couple hours of my time so what the heck? And you know something? It wasn’t half bad!

As a character, I never really cared about Ant-Man very much. The original, Hank Pym, never really did much for me and after the whole kerfluffle with hitting his wife, I had very little reason to pay any attention. When the second Ant-Man, Scott Lang, came along, he was a little more interesting, at least he was a “bad guy” who was trying to make up for his crimes, it was a somewhat more interesting story, but he was never one of my favorites. That doesn’t mean there haven’t been some really good takes on the character though, which is what I was hoping would be the case here. So was I right? Let’s find out.

I started out loving Arrow, like pretty much everyone did. The first season and to a certain degree the second season, were just amazing. Then it all started to go wrong and the third season, well… sucked. We all hoped that the fourth season would return to form and get back to the basics that had made the show so great.
Did it? Well, that’s what you’re here to find out, right? So let’s take a look at season four of Arrow, now that Oliver Queen has become the Green Arrow, and see if they managed to pull out of their tailspin.

Comics are dying and one of the reasons is that comic writers and publishers have bought into this whole social justice mentality, where they’ve given up on just writing good stories about interesting characters and situations and taken to catering to artificial diversity and regressive philosophies.
And because of this, comic books are hitting an all-time low in readership and sales. Comic readers aren’t stupid, but apparently Marvel is. Here’s why they are failing miserably.

If you want to know what Stranger Things feels like, imagine the love child of Steven Spielberg’s Super 8 done right combined with the 1985 movie Explorers, with a little Goonies thrown in for good measure. If that sounds good to you, then get thee to Netflix and grab this 8-episode summer series that really does just about everything right.
So let’s take a look at this summer series and see where we end up.
